The ever-enigmatic Radiohead have confirmed the release date of their 9th album, their first since 2011’s ‘The King of Limbs’.

Radiohead have confirmed that their new album will be released digitally tomorrow, May 8th, at 7PM and physically in June. They released their second song ‘Daydreaming’ along with the news. You can listen to it here:

Many suspected that Radiohead news was imminent when they erased their presence from the Internet. Their Facebook and Twitter feeds slowly went blank. Soon after, they posted mysterious clips on their Instagram account before dropping their first single, the hypnotic ‘Burn The Witch’ on Tuesday.

With Radiohead playing a series of dates at the Roundhouse later this month, many fans suspected that the new album would be released before then. Yesterday afternoon, Radiohead confirmed this when they released their second single along with a video directed by frequent Jonny Greenwood collaborator, Paul Thomas Anderson.

So don’t forget to set your alarms for Sunday at 7PM – I know I will be!
