Punk rock art show opens in London!
Gaye Advert, Spizz, Charlie Harper and Nicky Tesco are among the stellar array of artists contributing to the brand new Punk Rock and Roll Art Show in South London from this weekend (Saturday, October 17).
The free exhibition, at the Underdog Art Gallery, Crucifix Lane, London SE1 3JW, is curated by local noisemakers Bermonsdey Joyriders. The full roll call of artists displaying their art is: Gaye Advert (The Adverts), Paul Slack and Charlie Harper (UK Subs), Chris Bashford (Chelsea), Nicky Tesco (The Members), Knox (The Vibrators), Spizz (Spizzenergi), Luke Morgan (The Highliners), Gerry Laffy (Girl), John Taylor (Ultravox), Martin & Alison (Taurus Trakker), Charles Chaos (The Jerks), Neil Gabbitas (The Rebelles), Andy Last (Witchdoktors), Joni Belaruski (The Great Malarkey), David J Deaves (Queen B), Gordon McHag III (Subway Gallery), Gary Loveridge – punk rock historian , Ray Gange (Rude Boy), Lorraine Reeves, Sarah Pink, Mick Negative, Jane Palm Gold, Andi Bone, Sunny Warrington and the whole Bermondsey Joyriders crew.
Curator Martin Stacey said: “This year, even more musicians wanted to put work in. We cannot wait to open the doors and show the unique range of individual art.”
