Psychedelic FursPsychedelic Furs rearranged UK tour dates: 27 Sept to 5 Oct 2021

And, here is the news…

A year on from the release of their first album in 15 years and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their classic second album ‘Talk Talk Talk’, The Psychedelic Furs announce the rescheduled dates for their 2021 tour.

YES! YES! YES! At long last. The chance to get to hear those brilliant, beautiful new songs live ….

Made Of Rain became the Furs’ second highest charting UK Album ever and featured in the 2021 end of year Best Albums roundup in Mojo, Uncut, Classic Pop and Vive Le Rock among others.

And in the top three of our Albums of the Year.  If you go to the Furs official website, like I did, you can click on ‘Media’ and find the section headed ‘Album Review’.  Being based in the USA for many a year, you would expect to find a review from Rolling Stone magazine, the New York Times maybe, or Pitchfork, NME, The Guardian perhaps… but no.  There is only ONE review of Made of Rain. And it’s mine from Louder Than War!

Chuffed is not the word. Ecstatic mate. I’ve been a fan for more than forty years… but it is the review I am most proud of – the definitive account of one of the greatest ‘comebacks’ since Lazarus.

The Psychedelic Furs tour through September – October and play seven rescheduled UK shows, including their eagerly anticipated debut at The Royal Albert Hall (October 3rd), as part of the Made Of Rain Tour.

Joining the Furs on tour will be the wonderful Pauline Murray (from Penetration / the Invisible Girls) whose recent solo album we reviewed here.
