Prince is continuing his secret geurilla gigs theme with a couple of gigs in Manchester this coming Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd February 2014.
The ultimate pop singer is attempting to breathe fire into his career; the eighties singer has been running around London with the media in tow playing all kinds of unlikely venues.
Last night; Valentines Night he played a show at Kings Place in King’s Cross. 420 fans each paid £70 for a ticket, Prince rewarding them with a two-hour show.
However so many fans were left queuing outside that following the initial two-hour show the first audience was evicted, before Prince returned to the stage for a full second set which ended with a rendition of ‘Purple Rain’.
Earlier in the evening he also announced gigs at Ronnie Scott’s and Koko in London on Sunday 16th and Monday 17th, and promised to play two gigs in Manchester next week.
But where could he play in Manchester? – we hear The Roadhouse is free over the weekend…
