Exit Calm black and white press shot

Louder Than War favourite’s Exit Calm released their new single When They Rise on 26th August. Celebrating the release Komplex (aka David Francolini) has remixed the track & an accompanying video (see below) has been shot which we’re thrilled to be able to premiere for you today.

Komplex, aka David Francolini, is best known for production work with Timo Maas and Julian Cope as well as his own time drumming with bands Strangelove, Dark Star and Dragons.

The video was created by CUTS.

The original track, When They Rise – with pounding percussion, spaced-out synths and post-rock riffs – is a stunning first take from forthcoming album The Future Isn’t What It Used To Be, slated for release in September.

The single is released on transparent orange 7″ and can be ordered online (although we suggest getting yourself to an independent record shop if you can). More info on Exit Calm’s website.

The band also has a number of live dates coming up:

  • 12 September, Leeds Cockpit
