Unqualified Nurse Band Getting Sweaty

Unqualified Nurse Band Getting SweatyThe first song to be taken from their forthcoming debut album, Getting Sweaty from Derby three-piece Unqualified Nurse Band is a whirlwind of rock n roll noise.

Their recent EP Dilemma Blues has sold out its first pressing and in our review we said: “Throughout all four songs there’s a feeling of being dragged through the EP at break neck speed only stopping to catch your breath with the last screech of feedback at the end.

“Whilst it feels reckless and frenzied there’s no doubting the musicianship and tightness in which the trio perform. Dilemma Views is a furious promise of what’s to come from the Midlands based Unqualified Nurse Band.”

That promise is made good with the release of new track Getting Sweaty. Laid down at Derby’s SNUG Recording Company the track has a surf rock sway beneath a swell of snarling vocals. It’s the sort of song that sounds like it might fall over at any moment, swaggering ever forward between majestic melodic riffs.

Already getting airplay with Radio Andra, 6Music and Amazing Radio Unqualified Nurse Band may well be on the cusp of something big.
