PINS Announce Debut Album And Tour

Mancunian four-piece PINS have announced details of their debut album Girls Like Us and a UK and European tour for October.

The album comes out on Bella Union on September 30 and features thirteen tracks.  It follows on from their debut EP Luvu4lyf released by Bella Union last autumn and their self-released cassette Eleventh Hour / Shoot You.  The album contains both songs from their forthcoming 7″ and download single Stay True and Get With Me.

Faith explains the simple concept behind the album, which is reflected in the back-to-basics approach they adopted recording the album at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios. “Girls Like Us isn’t about being like us, it’s about being yourself. I always wanted to be in a band, ever since I can remember, it’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. Our album may have been recorded and mixed in a week but it’s been dreamed about for years! We had to be ruthless but we’ve got each other’s backs, we don’t let each other make bad decisions.”

The album tracklisting is as follows :

It’s On

Girls Like Us

Mad For You

Get With Me

Play With Fire

I Want It All

Waiting For The End

Howlin’

Lost Lost Lost

Velvet Morning

Stay True

To You

The Darkest Day
