3. SCOTT WALKER – SCOTT 4

Loved the Walker Brothers and all of Scott Walkers solo albums. Difficult to choose only one as they all have stand out tracks (Plastic Palace People, Montague Terrace, Big Louise, the Jacques Brel songs). Scott Walkers rich baritone voice, poetic lyrics and songs with lush string arrangements are all encompassing. It takes you back to a time, which is long gone and records such as this could not be made in the present day. Beautiful. (The Seventh Seal, Angels of Ashes. Boy Child.)
