Taylor_Swift_-_1989It’s great that Taylor Swift managed to make Apple climb down on artists royalty rates in a stand off of two corporations that was also mutually beneficial.

Some cynics have claimed that the whole situation was just too perfect and that it almost seemed like a mutual PR stunt that got the singer back in the super mainstream yet again and made Apple look like the listening corporation.

Of course we are having none of that and would like to see Taylor turn her campaigning eye to the really raw deal photographers are getting at the mega gigs these days – especially hers.

Years ago a photographer could make a living from their art – nowadays they are lucky to leave the venue with their photographs – just read this open letter to Taylor from yet another pissed off photographer.
