Nosebleed: Live? Die! 3 Hour Challenge

On 30th December 2018, Nosebleed will be live-streaming the recording a version of their single “Live? Die!”.

Nothing particularly newsworthy about that you might suggest, and you could be right; however this being Nosebleed, they are doing things a tad differently!

We will let them explain:

We will be giving ourselves 3 hours to record, mix, master, draw up the artwork and release the track for download.

The entire 3 hour process is set to be streamed live via the bands Facebook page, whilst all subsequent funds raised in the sale of the single will go toward the recording of the bands next album, the follow up to the rather wonderful ‘Scratching Circles On The Dancefloor’ (TNS Records) which was given 8/10 by our own Nathan Whittle upon release back in March 2018. Nosebleed are asking that you join them live on the 30th December and see if they’re up to the challenge!

Phil Newall is 47, from The Wirral - he earns his living not writing about music nor playing music...though sorely wishes he could. He was fortunate enough to see many of the first generation punk bands when they played the U18's matinee shows at Eric's, Liverpool. As an attendee at Eric's he was exposed to punk rock, dub reggae, art rock, and all manner of weirdness; as a customer at Probe Records he was variously served and scowled at by Pete Wylie and Pete Burns - he has written for Record Collector, Whisperin & Hollerin, and Spiral Scratch and wanted to write a book detailing the Liverpool punk scene; however with 'Head-On' Julian Cope beat him to it...and frankly did a much better job.
