The Nightingales: Tour And New LP NewsCurrently without a record company or management, The Nightingales are 100% independent – so Louder Than War doesn’t mind giving them a bit of free advertising space by passing on details of their new album, to be titled For Fuck’s Sake, and its associated upcoming tour.

The limited edition album (600 copies only) was recorded at Faust Studio during September 2013 and it’ll be released on 180g vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. You’ll also receive a download coupon when you buy it.

The album can be pre-ordered online before April 9 from here:

After that date the only way to get a copy will be at a The Nightingales gig. So it’s good news that the band have also just announced a UK tour, starting on, you guessed it, 9th April. As per usual they’ll be dragging our and John Peel’s favourite rocking comedian out on the road with them – the one and only Ted Chippington, dubbed, a “special guest” in the press release (for obvious reasons).
