Nick Cave has announced that his son Jethro has died.

We are saddened by the news that Nick has announced that his son Jethro has died.

In a statement, he said: “With much sadness, I can confirm that my son, Jethro, has passed away.

“We would be grateful for family privacy at this time.”

He was jailed in April for assaulting his mother and had reportedly only just been released.

The Australian musician’s other son, Arthur, died in 2015 after falling off a cliff in East Sussex.
