Middlesbrough festival Twisterella announce the first wave of acts, for what will be another great year on Teesside.
One of the best new inner city festivals has announced its first wave of acts. Twisterella is based over a number of venues in Middlesbrough town centre and prides itself on showcasing the best new talent, from the North East and beyond. With some more established bands thrown in for good measure. Last year we had an absolute ball, check our review here.
This year is already shaping up to be another brilliant year for the festival, with co-headliners Frankie & The Heartstrings and Clean Cut Kid. There is as always a plethora of local talent on offer including Kingsley Chapman & The Murder, Avalanche Party and Samantha Durnan. As well as the rest of the North East being amply represented by Coquin Migale, A Festival, A Parade, Drifts and Cape Cub.
With the national and international scene also well represented by the likes of Jordan Mackampa, TRASH, Forever Cult and an appearance from Norwegian indie rockers Beezewax. This year certainly is shaping up well, and we can’t wait to see what they have up their sleeves for their next announcement.
Twisterella takes place on the 8th of October across Middlesbrough town centre.
