Iggy and the Stooges are playing a hometown show in Ann Arbor in honor of the legendary group’s late guitarist, Ron Asheton on April 19 at the Michigan Theater.

Henry Rollins will be the night’s master of ceremonies and also perform.

Ann Asheton was the band’s original genius guitarist. When Louder Than War met him ten years ago when he was playing with J. Mascis before the initial Stooges reformation, he was a total gentleman who didn’t realise how influential the Stooges were.
Tickets cost $59.50 and $39.50 and go on sale Feb. 18.
