Recorded at Paul Weller’s studio in Surrey and released by Griffiths Records The Spitfires return with their second single, ‘Tell Me/ Words to Say’.

With all the controlled energy of the groups first single ‘Spark to Start’ the Watford trio up the ante with front man Billy Sullivan’s suss’d comment on teenage drug abuse and teenage depression.

Both tunes play with all the swag and precision of new wave/ punk and early Jam, with ‘Tell Me’ s jagged pop based riffs, bouncy bass lines and anthemic chorus playing as the singles highlight. With a real fire, passion and soul ‘Tell Me/Words To Say’ is the groups most complete work yet.
