Dexys Midnight Runners have not only refomed but are readying a new album to release this year.

Going by the clip posted on youtube it sounds great as well.

Some bands were built to make great music once they got past the youth dtage, Dexys are one of them. they sounded classic when they started with their punk take on soul. it was an amazing formulae and was given an extra edge by the brilliant Kevin Rowland’s heartfelt vocals. We have been long term fans of Kevin Rowland here and still champion that creation released solo album which is one of the great lost treasures.

A few years ago there was Dexys comeback mini tour which was great but this time it’s the real deal…
