We say

Hailing from Birmingham, Ore a remarkable duo who play Sunn O style drone doom soundscapes but instead of using guitars play Tubas. It’s really effective and they perfectly capture the hypnotically dark tundra of the fringe metal scenes with a stunning music. They formed last year and play Supersonic Festival in Birmingham and a couple of other gigs so far.

They say

We play slow music using two tubas and amplification, informed (but not limited) by our enthusiasm for drones, doom metal, improvisation and minimalism. We are heavy, but our heaviness comes from the way our bass, contrabass, and subcontrabass sounds hang in the air and relate to their surroundings – natural echoes, natural silences.
