new band of the day :Champyun Clouds ‘mesmerising space pop from pals of the Sleaford Mods’Although they sound nothing like Sleaford Mods, Champyun Clouds are pals with the Notts firebrands. Instead of the in your face poetic diatribe though this is a tripped out mesmerising space pop from the duo of Asa Hudson & Neil Tolliday that sounds nothing like anyone else and is quite wonderful. This is an off-kilter music to get lost in but also a mesmerising rhythmic textural trip.
