12 Dirty Bullets write, produce, compose and mix all there songs themselves. They’ve been called the Arctic MonkeysÃÂ bigger, badder brother because have all the attitude (even though the look the complete opposite). They have slotted into the void left open by their musical cousins the Libertines.
The bands intelligent lyrics combine the wild side of youth today with all the harsh realities of life that hit us in the face everyday. Live they have already built up a hardcore fan base. They have recently started using a RAT pedal Gibson 335 which has given the band a new direction, one that complements lead singer jamie jamersons voice. Jamie’s voice has lots of energy and force but this combines wth his hypnotizing lyrics & makes you stand there wanting to hear more. If they come to a town near you i implore you to go along.
The bands debut album Downside To Making a Living (2009) was produced by Hugh Jones (Harrisons/Charlatans/Echo & the Bunnymen) & was greeted with great reviews. Recently they have finished & produced their second album which is due for release later this year.
