They seem to have sprung from nowhere.

Last October I was the compere at the Justice Tonight gig in Glasgow and this group of teenagers took the stage. They were a million miles away from so called modern music- this was pure classic rock n roll- the Ramones, Mary Chain, Spector, Ronnetes, Girl groups, Johny Thunders- you know the template but somehow, and amazingly, turned round to sound bang up to date and now. This is a rock n roll guitar band that the youth will love and will get played on the radio.

They looked amazing- sharp quits, rolled up sleeves, pure confidence and their songs were killer stuffed full of hooks and and attitude. Somehow they made the classic fresh and if they are not massive within 12 months then we will finally know that the music is over…
