London-based electronic three piece Lua Sonique prove that music can be both timeless and contemporary.
An electronic three-piece based out of South East London, Lua Sonique mix both analogue and electronic sounds, creating a rich and diverse tapestry that’s both timeless, and massively contemporary; the combination of trip hop, disco, soul and funk all collating to form a sleek and somewhat subdued finished product.
Their latest single ‘Searching’ is no different. From the sharp percussion to the perfectly rounded synth, it’s easy to imagine Lua Sonique appealing to fans of the likes of Disclosure or Rudimental, whilst harbouring enough subtle nuances to allow the track to transcend that of your typical electronic release, meaning that Searching will undoubtedly find footing both commercially and in the clubs of their native London and further afield.
Thought the track’s not out until June 20th, you can stream it below.
