Nelly Globe are a charitable organisation who use creative projects to support and promote recovery, hope and optimism for people in trauma. Having already run fundraising events in Manchester, Birmingham and London they now have one in Leeds slated in for next weekend. Details in the poster to the right and below.
Nelly Globe encourage people to be creative to reduce trauma and distress. Since 2012 they have partnered with well-being organisations, including the Teenage Cancer Trust and The Stroke Association, to deliver creative projects and workshops. They have uniquely funded their projects through hugely successful Art Auction events in Manchester, Birmingham and London.
Now Nelly Globe are pleased to announce that their first event ever in Leeds will be at Outlaws, The Yacht Club, on March 8th.
The Nelly Globe art auction will feature an array of purchasable creative works by established and emerging artists, all of whom have a connection to Leeds. This is an ideal opportunity to buy some incredible art, listen to some amazing music (Outlaws faves, DJ’s Jamie Barber, Steve Wilkinson & guest DJ David Elliot), meet some new mates and help us to make a massive difference through our shared love of art.
Join them on Saturday 8th of March at 7pm to celebrate the power of creativity.
Art work on sale will be by Pete Fowler, Jon Langford, Elspeth Moore, John Hyatt, Amanda Burns.
