Nasty Little Lonely: Wicked Vicious – Video Premiere – Wicked visuals & vicious music, perfectly matched

Nasty Little Lonely create music that provides the soundtrack to your darkest dreams, of post apocalyptic decadence, discarded trappings of consumerism gone awry, alienation and small furry creatures with very sharp teeth.

Nasty Little Lonely are a wicked, vicious, noisey, brutal, motherfuckin’ band – from all the audio/visual evidence that I’ve seen.

I’ve no doubt that they tour the country in a transit van playing gigs where they can and damage the hearing of anyone brave enough to go and see them…winning fans along the way … But a better way of getting attention sometimes is a damned fine piece of video art accompaniment to one of your best songs … and this is what they’ve done with Wicked Vicious and this great piece of film. The wicked visuals & vicious music are perfectly matched.

The track was released 25th May 2018,  recorded and mixed by Wayne Adams, the video is by Charlie Beddoes and features a great performance by model Emma Maddox-Lumbard.   Someone really needs to update and remake some Hammer Horror movies, because there is their star and here is the soundtrack…

Fans of Silverfish and Tool, riot grrrl rage and industrialised post-punk no-wave are well advised to check out NLL’s bandcamp and root thru the sonic riches therein.

One of the most uncompromising, raging bands in the country –  check them out before they spontaneously combust.
