The Leeds’ band Mush, who released their latest album, Lines Redacted , in February, have announced a UK tour for October.
On the album, we said that Mush have turned their sights on the darkness behind the curtain, where the world’s stagehands are turning the cogs at the behest of the catastrophe directors while we, as actors, spectators, seem unable to do little more than play our scripted parts or look on in horror. Their twisted lyrics are set to a great combination of post-punk and slacker indie, idiosyncratic and unique to them.
The band released their debut album, 3D Routine, in February 2020, just before the pandemic struck, and so have still not had the chance to really tour either album. This tour will set that right.
They kick off the tour at Yes in Manchester on the 14th of October and includes a date at London’s Moth Club. Tickets for all dates are available now.
