Oh boy! This 7inch EP ticks a lot of boxes for me. Fantastic full flight female fronted Hardcore from Oakland, CA.  Six tracks centered around some raging guitar riffs and dynamite brassy screaming vocals. And, just to seal the deal, there’s a good dollop of sloppy fucked up noise thrown in too.

mozart2It’s energetic and unhinged, and pretty much contains everything that excites me in current punk music. Mozart expand the definition of what many purists may consider hardcore. At times it brings to mind The Urinals, in that similar raw, celebratory and ever so slightly unhinged approach to making music. It’s fast and frantic, and very much recommended.
