Morrissey dropped by his new label…alreadyThe grapevine is muttering that fab and awkwardly brilliant Morrissey has already been dropped by his label Harvest after just one album- the recent ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’.

There had been some of the usual artist griping about the label but the album was hardly a flop- reaching 12 in the USA before sliding down the charts- maybe they thought Moz was number one material or they they just found that some of these older artists just won’t play the game…

According to a post on Morrissey fansite True To You,

‘Three weeks after the release of Morrissey’s World Peace Is None Of Your Business (#2 UK, #14 US), Capitol Records/Harvest have ended their relationship with Morrissey, as directed by label boss Steve Barnett. Morrissey is once again in search of a record label.”
