Milk Teeth Release New Video with Kitten Co-Stars
One of the UK’s perkiest and productive bands have released a new video in advance of their latest EP due this November and it contains KITTENS!
An expressive blast of thunderous attitude, vivacious pop punk and that twisted yet gratifying Milk Teeth grunge melody is all brought together with real fluffy kittens in their new video Nearby Catfight.
The first track released from the band’s next EP Go Away was again created with their regular producer Neil Kennedy (Boston Manor, More Than Life). Go Away will be released on digital, limited edition yellow vinyl formats and in bundles with an exclusive T-Shirt. Set for release on November 17 all options are available now for pre-order.
“‘Go Away is faster, more frantic and much more tongue-in-cheek lyrically than Be Nice,” says vocalist and guitarist Becky Blomfield. “The songs are reflective but with a fun spin on the subject matter. This EP is a representation of everything the band can do now and the broad spectrum of influences we put to use during the writing process.”
The band have explained that Go Away finds them streamlining their songcraft into straight-to-the-point firecrackers and highlight the new EP’s closing track Big Sky as a song which “indulges our love of big riffs and takes things back to our original inspirations as a band that helped form our early releases.”
The band have certainly had a fantastic 2017 year, heir debut performances at the Slam Dunk Festival saw Kerrang! and the NME, among others, pick them as a highlight of the weekend. Their own UK headline tour was an outstanding tour de force as well as a strong showing at numerous festivals including 2000 Trees, Hit The Deck and Amplified. Milk Teeth crown a fabulously successful year supporting Good Charlotte on their UK Tour along with Against The Current and Nothing, Nowhere.
