The promoters of Michael Jackson’s fateful last tour, AEG, have been found not guilty of negligence after hiring Dr. Conrad Murray in a case brought by the Jackson family. Murray was brought in to look after the star who has just been released after two years in prison for not looking after Jacko properly.

The court case was beamed live on TV and it was biazarre watching as the wheels of justice clicked and ground in a confusing and ridiculous style with the judge asking each juror for a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ verdict to a series of questions that the jury seemed too confused to answer. The whole thing had the air of a school play more than a key moment in a huge trial.

Only in America with a pop superstar could a situation like this arise. It would be like a singer who drank themselves to death having their lawyers sue the pub they drank in.
