Studio Richter Mahr is an eco-friendly recording facility, created by composer Max Richter and visual artist Yulia Mahr.
An upcycled farm, the studio is powered by cutting-edge solar and heat-pump technology. It is located on the edge of Oxfordshire woodland. The space includes an orchestral recording room with a rare Steinway Spirio R concert grand piano, a Dolby Atmos mix room, programming rooms, an exhibition area displaying some of the vintage equipment and a cafe in the garden area. The building is wired to broadcast live performances.
More information about the project is on the official website of Studio Richter Mahr.
