Max Raptor: Great New Single And Album From New Punk KingsPunk has been around for so long I’m not even sure what it is any more but if you want socially aware, noisy cranked guitar anthems then Max Raptor have released one of the best for a long stretch of time.

It has the urgency of school punk sieved through the dynamics of post hardcore. It sounds annoyed, it sound fantastically noisy- like a a riot of its own but it’s also very lyrically astute and a really great single and is the first track from their coming Mothers Ruin album.

Live this sounds like a seething moshpit- great young band and proof, as ever, that there is still fire in the belly of the high decibel beast.
