Massive Attack have released a film collaboration with the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research – which previously teamed up with the band in 2019 to explore new ways of reducing the carbon footprint of touring.

just before the pandemic hit the band had panned to attempt the clean tour model they had been working on with Manchester University and  Green energy boss Dale Vince (whose new book written with LTW editor John Robb deals with his life and is green vision of the future and is available from here). They appear in the film along with Liverpool’s director of culture Claire McColgan.

The film, directed by Anthony Tombling Jr, is narrated by Massive Attack’s Robert ‘3D’ Del Naja and features narration from a selection of influential voices.
