Only joking, but you had to be there to realise what all the fuss was about. This was my gateway drug. Because of these cats I discovered Jimi, the Byrds, Neil Young, Love, Sly, Zeppelin, all that shit. In 1989 this was the signpost to a brighter future. It didn’t all have to be Neddies or House Of Love. It could also be magical again.
