Mark ‘Bez’ Berry is hoping to be on top of the charts as well as the polls come May 7th as he’s to launch a brand new single in aid of We are the Reality Party.
Bez, who is running in Salford & Eccles, is to launch new single called ‘Right Now is Forever’ with the hope that it would reach Number One for the general election.
The double A sided single will contain five versions including the original, the Congo Natty version, and renditions from soul stars Loretta Heywood and Jennie Bellestar, the lead singer of 80s group The Belle Stars.
The other A Side of this single features Bez’s manifesto and was produced by Kermit Leveridge of Ruthless Rap Assassins, Blind Arcade and Black Grape fame. He enlisted the help of Luke Evermean Beats (Blind Arcade) Winker Watson, Mark Day (Happy Mondays), James (Windy) Miller and Bez’s girlfriend Firouzeh Razavi (Aniseed).
Happy Monday’s had two hits that reached the top 5 in the UK singles chart including ‘Step On’ in 1990, but Bez is confident ‘Right Now is Forever’ will do much better.“It’s a great song about peace, equality and sends a powerful message to the people of Britain,” said Bez.
