Londons 12 Bar to close in January- greedy developers win the daySad to report but London’s 12 Bar venue is close in January.

Coming hot on the heels of the much loved Buffalo Bar closing it’s another dent in the capital city’s gig circuit.


The 12 Bar was under pressure from developers who had their greedy eyes on Denmark St and the whole legendary area is under threat as the money grubbers seek to turn London into a bland concrete zone with zero charachter and a culture they dictate. The developers felt a punk bar was not right for their ‘vision’ of the new area and that’s that.


This makes the Louder Than War promoted 12 Bar weekender of gigs by Goldblade and the Membranes  on Dec 19/20 virtually the last shows at the venue. Details of.
