Sound City 2019 - main wave of names - FINAL

Looking to fill your 2019 diary already? – Liverpool Sound City would be a good event to considering visiting.

Liverpool Sound City have begun announcing a few bands that will appear in the city in 2019. This event will run from Friday 3rd May to Sunday 5th May in the Baltic Triangle area of the city and promises a huge collection of up and coming, established and emerging acts that we think will be worth crossing paths with again.

The 2018 was a roaring success, covered here by our good selves and a few of us are already considering another visit. Keep an eye on further announcements at

The UK’s leading independent festival for emerging talent has revealed more new artists this month including Shame, Blaenavon, Confidence Man, The Tea Street Band, King No One, Kara Marni, Clean Cut Kid, Soak, Stella Donnelly, The Jungle Giants, Estrons, Benny Mails and 100s more, joining the already revealed Loyle Carner, Mabel, The Magic Gang, Spinn, Red Rum Club, Our Girl, Ryan McCullen and more. Keith Goldhanger -- Spent the '90s as a frontman with London noise merchants HEADBUTT - spent the '80s in 'Peel favourites' BASTARD KESTREL. Spent a few years mashing up tunes and remixing bands as HIDEOUS WHEEL INVENTION. Is often out and about getting in the way of things and bumping his head on low ceilings - Will give your band the time of day but will dislike any band that balances full pints of alcohol on the top of guitar amps (Not keen on lead singers that wear hats either).
