Little Anthony (Intastella) manchester music face RIPIntastella were one of the great lost bands of Manchester post baggy. A perfect psychedelic pop experience born out of post punk and the dayglo Manchester late eighties and fronted by the charismatic Stella and dancer Little Anthony.

Anthony was a permanent fixture on the Manchester scene who would pop up everywhere and in recent years had become part of the Hulme experience and was often bumped into HOME in Manchester City centre.

His affable presence and in depth music knowledge always made him great company and he will be sadly missed.

  1. Poor Anthony. Was with him just a few weeks ago. He was in good spirits despite his long term health issues. Still, a shocker. He’d love his friends to party in his honour. He’ll be doing the same, upstairs with his beloved mother.
    Peace and love.
