ZoZoThe latest instalment of the Come Play With Me series features the brilliant ZoZo, check out International Waters.

The Come Play With Me series was designed to highlight Leeds’ vibrant and diverse music scene. The latest in the series features Esper Scout and the indescribable ZoZo, with their track International Waters. ZoZo have quickly gathered a number of admirers, with their energetic sound that’s packed with a variety of sax, yelps, wails and words. International Waters sums up this difficult to describe band perfectly, you need to hear it to believe it!

Jack Trotman, ZoZo’s bass player describes International Waters as;

“Technically it’s one of our oldest songs. It’s gone through many formations since the band started in my bedroom with Fred and Tom. It was written by accident when trying to write a guitar part for another song. We were wearing our influences on our sleeve very clearly…well more like on our backs like a footie shirt. That shirt would read ‘How many Talking Heads songs have we ever ripped off – 99.”

Check out the brilliant International Waters below and catch ZoZo at Live at Leeds this weekend at Belgrave Music Hall at 1:00pm
