ShardsLiverpool band SHARDS, freshly signed to Jacaranda Records, release their new single 2020 (I Want To Go Home). Check it out below.

Having racked up support already from BBC 6 Music and support slots with Tim Burgess and Black Honey, Liverpool band Shards come out with their first single for Jacaranda Records. The song, 2020 (I Want To Go Home), is a slice of classic indie. The guitars chime, jangle and soar all at once, as the soft melody floats over the top. It recalls The Charlatans, Echo & The Bunnymen, Lightning Seeds and wraps it all up in a modern slant of lush indie dream pop, setting out their stall well and whetting the appetite for more.

Check out the song below.

Jacaranda Records has risen out of the legendary Liverpool club, The Jacaranda, which, back in the 60s, witnessed some of the first perfomances from The Silver Beetles. The label brings together a street networks of venues and record shops in the city with the aim of launching more local talent onto the global stage. Find out more about them from their website.
