Lily Allen: Albert Hall, Manchester – live photo review
Honest, witty and engaging Popstar Lily Allen brings her ‘No Shame Tour to Manchester’s Albert Hall, the third date of her UK tour. Louder Than War photographer Melanie Smith headed out to to capture the action on this sold out show.
Lily has re-emerged stronger than ever with her fourth studio album ‘No Shame’, which was shortlisted for the Mercury prize and reached no 8 in the UK album charts. Lily also released her best selling autobiography this year ‘My Thoughts Exactly’ which is a no holds barred journey through her often turbulent life. You might say she is on a roll and Manchester welcomed her with open arms, obviously pleased to see she is back where she belongs, right in the limelight centre stage.
