Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green store was one of the many shops looted in the riots in city centre of Manchester. The city was besieged by looters as young as 12 on the nick.

The city centre was trashed by random gangs. I saw car loads parking up near the centre and people getting out and putting scarves and hoods over their heads. there were mountain bikes charging about with looters on mobiles and lots of looter types walking into town like it was the best party of the year.

Several independent businesses were smashed up and we may be putting a gig on to help support them.

  1. Of the great number of local businesses that have reportedly been attacked in the past 24 hours, I’d have to say this one is a very very long way down my give-a-shit list…

    • Maybe he’ll get a song out of it to recoup the losses…

      “I’ve really ‘ad enough..
      they’ve nicked me fookin stuff
      the gear from pretty green
is no longer on the scene…”
      (continues nonsensical couplets ad infinitum)
