News reaches Louder than War of a new video, a new EP with new tracks, a headline tour AND some festival dates from the wonderful Laura J Martin. Someone has obviously taken their eye of the ball at Bastards HQ, given the cornucopia of goodies coming our way here.
You can have a listen to the title track of Laura J Martin’s new EP “I Can’t Bear to Feel Myself Forgotten” here (comin atcha courtesy of the Kartel Group in early June).
We should add that the accompanying video to the EP is made by one Casey Raymond; whose previous battle honours in this field include John Grant, Cate Le Bon and Leftfield. The video came with the following blurb: a portrait of common or garden death anxiety crossed with the usual ‘constantly connected’ narcissism/self obsession. Contains prosthetics. We at LTW can neither conform, nor deny any of this.
Laura J Martin’s tour is taking place almost as we speak, (the London gig is tonight – 27 May. Yikes! We entreat our well-heeled Metropolitan friends to take note).
In any case, be sure to catch her at one of the following venues or somewhere during the coming festival season.
