In the 1980s the iconic pop star, Adam Ant, was at the height of his fame, twenty years later, after a mental breakdown, he was locked up and forcibly sedated, putting him in a state of artistic oblivion. The Blueblack Hussar, follows him on his first tour for 15 years as he plays small London clubs, culminating in a performance before 55,000 at Hyde Park. The film features the actress Charlotte Rampling who inspired his first album Dirk Wears White Sox, the producer Mark Ronson and the artist who was his mentor, Allen Jones.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, Jack Bond by John Robb
