7. Sticky Fingers……The Rolling Stones.

The Rolling Stones seventies work was often sniffed at at the time and now with Exile On Main Street being considered the band’s classic it’s often half forgotten how great some of the follow up albums were. Sticky Fingers is the band at their most demonic and with their rock n roll oozing a sexiness and a sassiness the Stones would never be this damn funky ever again.

Kirk Brandon …

The songs are staggering R and R. Mick Taylor’s lead guitar at its finest, apart from his John Mayall sojourn. Again, another mood album for me. Memory strasse.

  1. “Sticky Fingers” was NOT a follow-up album to “Exile On Main Street”. In fact “Exile On Main Street” was the follow-up to “Sticky Fingers”. Tiny modicum of research might help you here.
