An album with a reason?
A collection of songs from Manchester bands has been put together to raise money and awareness for a key charity. It’s also a pretty good document of the city’s current music scene.
‘Thirty One’ is a compilation album featuring Elbow, Barry
Adamson, Everything Everything, Delphic, Murkage, Bad Lieutenant, Jim
Noir, LoneLady and more. It has been put together to raise money for CALM – the Campaign Against Living Miserably.
The tracks on the album have been sourced, chosen and compiled by Dave Haslem. CALM – the Campaign Against Living Miserably – aims to provide
support for those suffering from mental illness or depression, with a
focus on reducing the high suicide rate amongst men.
