A photography celebration of one of the UK’s most vibrant music festivals is set to go on show at Manchester’s newest music bar, 33 Oldham Street. The Northern Quarter venue launches its first exhibition, featuring images by the official photographers of the award-winning Kendal Calling, with an opening party on Wednesday 15th May from 6pm.

Scott M Salt and Jody Hartley who run the photography team One Eye In have handpicked their finest photos from the past three years at the award-winning festival, which takes place each summer in the beautiful Lake District. You’ll be right there in the moment with world renowned stars such as Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Stereophonics, getting up close and personal with Manchester music legend Clint Boon and partying along with the thousands of festival-goers that make Kendal Calling one of the most vibrant and colourful events in the country.

The month-long exhibition runs until Saturday 15th June, when all the prints featured will be auctioned off to raise money for Big Change.

Big Change is part of Manchester Homelessness Charter, bringing together people experiencing homelessness, charities, grassroots groups, the council, businesses and individuals to end homelessness in Manchester.

Scott M Salt said: “We’re pleased to bring One Eye In’s first ever exhibition to 33 Oldham Street this May! It’s been great fun to photograph Kendal Calling over the last few years and we’re excited to showcase some of our favourite photography from the fields. The fantastic work that Big Change do in Manchester is crucial to so many people, so we’re delighted that the proceeds from the print auction go to such a worthy cause. See you on the opening night!”
