The gigs where Mick Jones splays the Clash songs for the 96 fans who died at Hillsborough along with Pete Wylie playing his classics and the Farm doing the same were rapturously received in the last year. With special guest appearances including the legendary Roses at the Ritz and Paul Simonon and Jonesy playing ‘Brand new Cadillac’ and other Clash songs in london brought the house down.

Compared by LTW boss John Robb the first of the gigs is at the Picket in Liverpool this Friday June 22nd.

The second is with the Stone Roses in Lyon in France on Monday June 25th – the gig that Ian Brown describes as the best bill of the pre Heaton Park gigs. It’s held in an ampitheatre and there may be some previously unplayed Clash songs getting an airing.
