number 8 ‘THE WHITE ALBUM’   : The Beatles (Apple) 1968

‘Not far wrong when people used to say that on this double album each track would have

been a top five single. Such was their standard of song

writing and record making arrangements.  However, my favourites

here were Dear Prudence (John Lennon) and Blackbird (Paul

McCartney) both more in the traditions of the guitar

minstrel.’
