The organisers have set up a temporary television studio at the top of the Upper Norwood Library Hub and have invited some amazing artists to perform.
Headlining on Sunday 16th August are Louder Than War favourites JOHN, whose album, Out Here On The Fringes, came in at a very respectful number two in the contributors’ favourite albums of 2019.
Saturday 15th August features headliner Andrew Ashong, who has been described by Paul Lester of The Guardian as “a hazy, jazzy dreamer of a young soul rebel who in his music references Roy Ayers and Shuggie Otis, Bill Withers and Marvin Gaye.” His single with Theo Parrish, Flowers, was Gilles’ Peterson’s single of the year in 2013.
There will be a truly exciting array of other diverse artists from Crystal Palace and South London to enjoy – music, spoken word, theatre and dance live from one location for a unique festival atmosphere.
