Bruce Mitchell is a Manchester music legend.

He was there before rock n roll as face on the jazz scene, he was there for the riots when Bill Haley played in town, he remembers the impact that Elvis had, he knew the Beatles, he played in beat groups, he played the Cavern, he was part of the Manchester late sixties weird scene, he ran the Manchester music scene in the seventies, he supplied the PA and lights for the classic Sex Pistols Free Trade Hall gigs, he we was there for Joy Divison, the Smiths, Stone Roses, he was Tony Wilson’s go to man, he is still there and he has always played amazing drums especially in Durutti Column…

Bruce was the man that Tony Wilson called ‘the real Mr Manchester’…he has seen everything and knowns everything and is great talker..anyone interested in the Manchester music needs to be at this…
