JOHN ROBB BIO
John Robb was forged by glam but culturally formed by punk and post punk but in his own unique style.

He formed the acclaimed and influential UK post punk band the Membranes who reformed recently and whose Dark Matter/Dark Energy has been a successful reaffirmation of the band and their best selling album ever and made the band  a staple on the European festival circuit.

He is the editor of one of the UK’s biggest music culture website, Louder Than War which is also now a magazine and has written several best selling music books including a biog of the Stone Roses and an oral history of punk. He is also a radio and TV regular and has recently been filming a series of interviews for Lush with people like Stewart Lee, Shaun Ryder and Caroline Lucas.
